Gazprom Neft gets license for 2 blocks in northern Russia
MOSCOW, May 2 (PRIME) -- Russian oil major Gazprom Neft has received licenses to develop the Tazovskoye and Severo-Samburgskoye oil and gas fields in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District from its parent company, gas giant Gazprom, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
The licenses are valid until 2025 and 2027, respectively.
As of January 1, 2016, the Tazovskoye field’s reserves were estimated at 72 million tonnes of oil, 4.6 million tonnes of condensate, and 183.3 billion cubic meters of gas. The recoverable resources of the Severo-Samburgskoye field stood at 90.5 million tonnes of oil.
